Acanthus Development NE is excited to announce that it has entered into a formal letter of intent with the Campion Center, located in Weston, MA and overseen by the Eastern Provincial of the Society of Jesus. The agreement allows Acanthus and the Jesuits to explore renovating the existing physical facilities and constructing an additional building.  Acanthus looks to add anywhere between 150 – 200 rooms to the Campion Center by adding Independent, Assisted and Memory Care residences.  The goal is for Acanthus to bring the Acanthus branded Class A independent, assisted and memory care capabilities to the existing fully licensed Heath & Wellness Center at the Campion Center to care for aging, infirm, injured and disabled Jesuits all within a vibrant, active, and engaging apostolic context.   Ultimately, our goal is to make this Assisted Living experience available to members of the public at the Weston Campion Center, which until now has been available exclusively to the Jesuit community.  The Jesuits of Campion welcome this opportunity and look forward to being ready to say Mass or offer their own unique spiritual direction as the residents of the Acanthus community at the Campion Center are able to live their lives in concert and harmony with the Church, the Society of Jesus and all other partners in this mission.
